Due North is an exhibition that celebrates the achievements of a select and diverse group of established landscape artists. Their work has captured the essence of the Far North—a region often in contrast to the archetypal Australian scene.
Brisbane based indigenous artist Vernon Ah Kee was selected to exhibit at the Venice Biennale in 2009 as a part of the show titled “Once Removed.”

Djumbunji Press will be open during the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, and is designated stop on the CIAF bus route. Visitors can view the studio and see printmaking demonstraions by Master Printmaker, Elizabeth Hunter.
